Essay Prompts
1. What is your perception of North Korea? Explain what factors have shaped your view (or lack thereof) on North Korea.
2. How should we deal with human rights issues in North Korea? Address your essay to a particular audience (e.g. United Nations, President Trump, etc.) and provide a solution.
3. Imagine yourself as someone from North Korea. How would you view the outside world and North Korea's relationship to it?
About
The Education Committee of ThiNK pursues the mission of encouraging thoughtful and actionable discourse on topics related to North Korea. We hope this essay contest is a fruitful opportunity for high school students to seek a more comprehensive understanding of North Korea and express novel ideas to effect change.
